A WEALTHY ESTATE.

The Earl of Plymouth left an estate valued at £860,000, the death duty on which amounted to £250,000. He bequeathed £IO,OOO to his secretary, Mr Mortimer Margesson, "feeling confident that he will always help my wife and family to the best of his ability." .
