Cosgrave, President of the Dail Eireann, speaking at Cork, said the Government would shortly ask the Irish people to lend tho nation a sufficient sum "to wipe out tho dishonour of the last twelve or eighteen months." He warned tlie nation against wild-cat schemes. It must be prepared for email beginnings. It was essential that after the elections tho Government should be strong enough to enable them to advance the money.
