The Independent Labour Party, at a meeting in Glasgow, resolved to demand that the House of Commons should unconditionally reinstate Messrs J. Wheatley, J. Maxton, and G. Buchanan, and the Rev. C. Stephen, all of whom, it was stated, refused to withdraw the remarks made by them or to apologise. [The members named used tho words "murderers" and "dirty dogs" against certain other members of the House of Commons, and on refusing to withdraw them, were susoonded.j
