At last night's meeting of the Bio. carton Borough Council Councillor H. TV. Wise brought under the notice of the Council instances wller© residents of the Borough had received notice that they had been struck oir the Parliamentary rolls on the ground that they had not voted at the last election, in spite of the fact that these people had voted. Councillor "Wise said that this was a serious tiling, especially as there might be another general election shortly. The Government had gone to considerable expense before the last election to see that everyone was on the roll.' It was decided to write to the Registrar of Electors for the Eicearton electorate asking for an explanation.
