v WEST END CLUB, TIMARU. (bpbcial to "thb pbbss.") TIMARC, July 5. Tho tenth annual meeting of the West End Bowiiing Club was hold this evening, Mr T. Currie presiding over a good attendance, The annual report and balance-sheet (already published in "The Press") were adopted. ; It was> decided that in future the annual meeting should be held in September. The president stated that the thanks of the club were due to Messrs L. Dew ax for a donation of two medals and G. McLean for a donation of a notice board. The election of officers for the coming season resulted as follows:—Patrons, Messrs W. C. Raymond, P. J. fiolleston, M.P., K. E. Guinness, W. Thomas and G. J. Wallace; president, Mr T. Currio (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs L. Dewar and. H. Edgington; secretary, Mr R. C. HocKing; treasurer, Mr G. Blackham; auditor, Mr 11. F. Provan; executive, Messrs J. Stringfellow, E. Cornwall, W. Walker, J. Price, R. F. Provan, A.V. Newman, and W. Reid; match committee, Messrs ]L. Dewar, R. F. Provan and G. Blackham; sole selector, Mr L. Dewar; green supervisors, Messrs J. Stringfellow and E. Cornwall; greenkeeper, Mr J. A. Dewar, Donations to the club were mod© by Messrs Currie, Edgington, Roundhill, Dawson, Provan, Shepherd, Stringfellow, Berry, L. Dewar, Reid, Vuoetich, Smith, Ellis, Cornwall, Sampson, Lincoln, Walker, Gunn, McLean and Maytll, who were cordially thanked.
