Poison, Dominion President of the New Zealand Farmers' Union, addressed a large and interested meeting of members of Parliament at the Parliamentary Buildings. Ho lucidly described the operations of an agricultural baiik, and said such an institution was necessary in New Zealand- He was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for' his instructive address. Work in that line is pretty brisk just now. The firm in question is casting every day of the week, including Saturday, and other r-ingemakers in Dunedin are alflo supplied with plenty of orders. This spurt in the black trade is to a certain degree general. Things are decidedly more lively than they were three months ago. WHEAT MARKET. (Receired July 3rd, 8.5 p-m.) LONDON, July 2.
