AUSTRALIAN WOOL GROWERS.
PROTECTING THEIR INTERESTS. (BY CABLE—PBBSS ASSOCIATION-—COI'YRIGHT.) (austealian and n.z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) SYDNEY, May 23. The annual conference of the Graziers' Association passed a resolution urging 'the advisability of continuing an organisation on similar lines to B.A.W.RA. to give full protection to the interests of wool-groWers. Eesolutions were also carried urging the abolition of the draft allowance of £1 a cwt. collected by brokers on Wool.
The president, Dr. Kater, in the course of his said that as a result of the shearing fig'ht with the Australian Workers' Union approximately £363,000, was saved for the industry in New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania.
