The election returns from two seats aro till incomplete. The latest figures indicate that anti-Labour candidates will win the seats by narrow majorities.

A message received last Saturday said:—With possible alterations in the case of a couple of seats, progress returns make the present stato of parties as follows: Labour ... 44 United Party ... ... 16 Country Party ... ... 12

A progress analysis of the voting shows an aggregate for Labour of 164,3(31 votes and for anti-Labour 160,948 votes.
