The concert arranged by the Misses Claridge in aid of the St. Saviour's Orphanage Building Fund drew a large audience at the St. Stephens's Parish Hall, Ashburton. An enjoyable programme of vocal and instrumental items and recitations and fancy dancing was rendered, and the result of the concert will be the handing over of a substantial sum towards the St. SaiviaufV Orphanage Building Fund.
