MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. ! A meeting of the United Burgesses' Assoj ciation was held on Tuesday r.isjht, Mr.G. F. The Railway Department advised that the matter of warning bells for the Glando/ey road level crap sing was nnder consideration. The Canterbury Progress League ajao advised thut that action was being taken with a view to improving the visibility of the Gliuidovov xoud crossing It was decided to send a deputation to the meeting of the Papanui Progress League on the first Monday in May. The Cashmere Progress Association wrote stating that as there were so many matters in their own district requiring attention, they did not propose becoming affiliated I to the United Association at present. : On the motion of Mr E. Franklin it was i decided to write to the bodies concerned, &skang thut something might be done towards the of Beach road a,nd Pacific road, North New Brighton. Mr Franklin gave notice of motion tint the Association should approve of the recommendation that the Sumner bar ehonld be improved, und n Harbour made et Redcliife for the accommodation of small craft.
