WELLINGTON'S BALANCESHEET.
O (PKDSS ASSOCIATION TELEOBAM.) WELLINGTON, April 18. A draft of the City Council's balancesheet has been given out for publication. It shows that the past year was a very troublesome one, chiefly owing to the large amount of unemployment which existed right through thejvmter making it necessary to provide work and even provisions for a large number of people. Despite this, and after allowing for commitments totalling £11,98-1, a credit balance of £14,519 is shown.
