There was an excellent demand for most olasaea of stock at Buinside to-day, and tha market, with one or two exceptions, was firm. Fat Cattle—262 head were yarded, compared with 389 last week. The quality ranged from fair to good, but, the entry included a considerable number of plain and unfinished aorta. The demand opened fairly well at rather better values than those ruliotf at the previous sale, and although p.icei were inclined to be irregular, most of the pens were cleared at au advance of aboiu IDs per head, which stil is a long way ehort of last Wednesday's decline. For the last two pens, however, valueß were back to last week's level.
