LIFE IMPRISONMENT.
SENTENCE ON PRIEST,

At Kalamazoo, Father Dillon pleaded guilty to the murder of lather O'Neill, and was sentenced to life imprisonment with hard labour. [A previous message said: —A telegram from Kalamazoo, Michigan, states that while at the dinner table, Father Charles Dillon, assistant rector of the local Catholic Church, shot and killed Father Henry O'Neill, rector of the institution. Father Dillon explained that he was driven to fury by ill-treat-ment from Father O'Neill for a long time, and to-day armed himself in expectation of a quarrel, which materialised when the two men met. Father O'Neill asked Father Dillon to pack up and get out. Father Dillon responded by firing upon his superior. Members of the congregation uecjare that Father Dillon suffered a nervous breakdown recently.]
