TITANIC DISASTER.
ELEVENTH ANNIVERSARY. (BI CABLE—PBESS ASSOCIATION —COPTEIGHT.) (AOSTBALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION.) NEW YOilK, April 16. All churches, as well as all seagoing ships, held special services,, while all radios remained silent for five minutes in commemoration of the eleventh anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, when 1517 lives were lost through the liner crashing into an iceberg on her maiden voyage. To-day's tribute was paid when the Modoc took un her position over the spot where the Titanic sank, and commemorated the tragedy with full military honours for the victims, while in churches, near and far, prayers were offered for the repose of their 6ouls.
