SWIMMING.
—♦- SUMNER LIFE-SAVING CLUB. A meeting of the committee of the Sumnar Lifo-Saving Club waa held in the pavilion on Monday evening, Mr H. Buttle presiding. Correspondence was received from the Head Centre, K.L.S.S., regarding clneses to be held at the Tepid Baths. It was decided that the secretary arrange if possible for twelve members to attend the classes. The Sumner Football. Club applied for the use of the pavilion for two .wights weekly, for training and instruction. The application was granted, subject to certain conditions' being complied with. The Social Committee reported that arrangements bad been made 1o hold the club's annual dance on Wednesday, May 2nd. Advantage will bo taken of the opportunity to present a number of trophies won during the past season.
