The Wanaka is expected th;s morning fiom Wellington to discharge Auckland cargo. The John is to load to-day for Wellington, Wn.nga.nui, and New Plymouth. The Opihi, due this morning from Auckland via Wellington, is to load for Auckland direct. ,_,-.. The Woot'on is due to-day from Wellington, and is to sail on tho leturn trip tomorrow. , The Oremiki is expected to arrive, from Greymouth on Tuesday, and k to cail on Thursday fur Wellington, Westport, and Grevmouth. The Kahika arrived yetserday .from Wellington with transhipm-mts ex tho Port Auckland. She is to sail this morning for Bluff, and is due back on Tuesday to load for Nelson and New Plymouth. The O-pa-wa is clue to-day irom Wellington to continue disdhargo of her Liverpool cargo. From here she goes to Duuedin and JNew Plymouth. The New Zealand Shipping Company report that the Berwickshire, which is loading at Wellington for London, will sail from there to-day at midday for Port Chalmers, Bluff, and Lyttelton to fill up. The Shaw, SaviU, and Albion Company's steamer Mahia arrived' at Wellington on Saturday afternoon from Liverpool, via Auckland and Napier. The vessel will sail to-diay for Lyttelton and Dunedin to discharge the remainder. . The Shaw, Swill, and Albion Company report that the Matakana, which left London on' March 17th with cargo for Australian ports, sifter discharge there will como to Now Zealand to load for London. She i« due at Timaru on Friday, and will subsequently visit Picton, Wellington, Opua, and Auckland, sailing finally from Auckland about June 12th for London. The Waimana is announced by the bnaw, SaviU, and Albion Company to load for New York, Boston, and, London. The vessel is due at Auckland to-morrow from Australia to un-/ load the remainder of her cargo from Homo.. She vill subsequently load at Auckland, Opua, Whakatane, Gisborne, Napier, Lyttelton, and Wellington. The Wiimana is due at Wcllineton en Moy 10th, »nd will Wve there on May 15th for New TiorK, Boston, and London. „ . , The auxiliarv schooner Zita arrived unexpectedlv at Wellington at 2 30 o c:<xk yestMdny morning, bound from Whangape witn 75 000 feet of timber for Lyttelton (says Monday's "Dominion"). The vess?l put in to Wellington for crude fresh oil. fresh wnter, and stores. She left Wtangape on April 4th, and had fine weather with calms generally, but during a cc-uple or daws' rough weather salt water p-ot into the fresh water tank ana a sea shifted one of th? forward deck houses.

THE KAIKOURA FIRE. DAMAGED CARGO REMOVED. (PBSSS ASSOCIATION TEI-EOBAM.) AUCKLAND, April 17. TOie Kaikoura, sailed for Opua to-day, aftsr discharging cargo in the Number 4 hold, damaged by fire. Eighteen balca of wool were more or lesa damaged, of which 2ii of loose, charred wool were auotioned, the remainder being reconditioned.
