.A MAN OF ACTION. CONTRACTORS COMMENCE WORK AT ONCE. With the sam© intrepid energy that has made "Ti.e Dorothy" tbo leading city restaurant in a few short months, Mr J. E. Cowell lias set to work to reinstate the damage caused by yesterday's five. "Dreadfully unfortunate to have a fire on Easter Monday, right in the holiday rush? Of course, it is. Could hard'ly bo worse. But what's the m& of crying about it?" says Mr Cowell. "Our job is to got The Dorothy' going again as quickly as we can, sol that our regular patrons won't *oe too greatly inconvenienced. So I've already seen the builders, and in abnut a. fortnight 'The Dorothy' will re-opsn its doors to friends old and new." •O'n all hands Mr and Mrs Cowell have received explosions of sympathy from city people, and to these they desire to tender their thanks.
