THEATRE ROYAL.
"THE DIGGERS." "The Diggers" presented their clever entertainment before another large audience at the Theatre Royal last night. The production abounds in comedy, and the audience is kept in a eimmer of merriment practically throughout "The Diggers" now comprise a chorus of six talented girls, besides two soloists, and the inclusion of the ladies haa improved the quality of the entertainment •considerably. Messrs J. Valli, F. Moran, Gus Dawson, and Stan Lawaon are seen in Beveral good comedy sketches,- and Mr Lawson gives a glimpse of his well-known'talent Ar female impersonations. The company is also seen and heard to advantage in the Eastern scena, "Dreamy Araby," and the ballet is very effective in "The Awakening of the Flowers" dance. ' The programme will be repeated at the Theatre Royal to-night.
