MR JULIAN GRANDE'S LECTURES.
♦ It is not often that a visiting lecturer is able to do for a New Zealand audience what Mr Julian Grande proposes to do on Monday and Tuesday next, namely, to describe the fascination of mountain climbing and travelling in tome of the most interesting parts of Europe. Mr Grande has just ' carried out an ambition of many years, to visit the jfew Zealand Alps and cross from east to west by way of the Copland Pass, 'which the late Mrs Grande was the first woman, to cross jttiany years ago. The visitor has been greatly impressed by the New Zealand mountains, and it is his belief that New Zealand will, in the future, be regarded as one of the greatest scenic centres in the world. Mr Grande will ehow a large, number of interesting slides by way of describing the charm and adventure of climbing tn Switzerland and other part 9of Europe. The second lecture on "Arabia," though differing in nature, will be of equal interest. The reservation plans are at The Bristol Piano Company.
