GIRLISH VOGUE.

*— SLENDER EIGTTBES FOR 1923. LONDON, December 12. "Unless she has a girlish figure, a woman must tightr-lace or be out of fashion next season," say West End modistes. "Tight bodices, with long full skirts are the Litest style for gowns. jSverybody is tired of the long waist and shapeless silhouette. "The new style demands the smallest possible waifit. but modern women refuse to tight lace. Paris and London tried to introduce a waisted corset in vain, so we are obliged surreptitiously to pinch the bodices and wire the skirts. A woman who is naturally slender has a perfect figure for the new fashion."
