SCHOOLS' CARNIVAL. A schools* swininiins carnival promoted ! by the Bath Committee oi the City Council i was held in the Municipal Tepid Baths last ! evening'. Almost every school in Christ- ! church, both primary and secondary, was j represented, and the standard set was of I a high order. All the events were keenly ! fought out. The programme was very i lengthy, but owing to the promptitude with j which the events were got off, the carnival I Qnished close on schedule time. The officials i are to be congratulated on their efforts. ' In declaring the carnival open, Cr.
