Family vaults and graves aro continually being discovered, forced open, and even bombed, and the dead robbed of rings, jewels'and even fittiags in their teeth. Owing to relatives dispensing with costly funerals, the dead lie in State cemetery mortuaries instead of their homes, with the result that in many cases burial clothing and linen is found missing and replaced by paper substitutes. Wreathe of fresh flowers are being removed from tho graves and resold to florists in the city.
