MOTION PICTURE OF AUCKLAND.
An offer to take a mixtion picture of Auckland, showing 1 all its attractions, accompanied by a guarantee that the picture would be Hcreened in every town in New Zealand, was received by the City Council at its last meeting. It was stated by the firm maJtinff the offer that it would tsie 13 months to thus exhibit the film, at the expiration of ■which time it would be &t the Council s diapoeal for the sum of £75. The offer was declined At a later stags of the meeting, on the motion of Mr J. A. C. Allum, the question of securing a cinematograph picture of city!* attractions, to be ehown & u the forthcoming British Empire Exhibition, was referred to the Finance and Ccmmittee for consideration. The Mayor, Mr J- H. Guneon, said the committee would note that the cost of such a film. mT-'etcomooutof unauthorised expenditure.
