In the last week of October a score of camera men, electricians, directors, and mechanics worked against time to finish the only moving picture ever taken of the interior of St. Paul's Cathedral, London, and that from crypt to dome. That innumerable bats have their home in the roof of the cathcdraJ, where they have settled undisturbed for years, was one of the discoveries made when for the first time "cinema searchlights" played on t^e^ om J e - , of these denizens of the dark, dazzled by the giant lights, fluttered all over the cathedral in search of gloomy retreats. Many took refuge behind the statuary All proceeds from the exhibition of the film will be devoted to the St. Paul's Fund. It is particularly interesting to note that the mightv glare of the arc lamps brought to light many additional defects in the masonry.
