ORCHESTRAL CONCERT.
The Christchurch Orchestral Society's final concert of the 1922 s-ason takes place on Wednesday next at the Ohoi'al Hall. The programme is a. "request" one, and voting papers were distributed at the Society's last concert and the programme to bo played at this final conoert comprises the moat popular of the year's works. The following are included:—Overture 'Barbier de Seville" (Rossini). Incidental Music Henry VIII. (Sullivan), ••Gavotte from "Mignoii" (Thomas), Aragonaise and Aubade Movements from "Ler Cid," Ballet (Massenet), Humoreske (Dvorak), Tone Poem "Finlandia" (Sibelius), "March of the Prophet" (Meyerbeer). The solists will be Miss E. Luise Cxoucher (violiniste) who will play Violin Concerto No. G (Mozarti, will full orchestral accompaniment. The vocalist will be Mr A. G. Thompson.
