The Judicial Committed of the Privy Council allowed the appeal with costs in the case of Hatrick and Company, Ltd., of New Zealand versus the King. (PBZSS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) "WANGANUI, November 29. Some years ago when the Railway Department imposed sorting charges on goods handled on the wh<irve3 controlfed by the Department, objection wag made by local merchants, and a test action was taken by Hatrick and Company. The case went through the local Courta with varying success, and was finally sent to the Privy Council. A cablegram was received by Hatrick's this morning from London, announcing that the company had' baen successful in its appeal to the Council. The decieionj it is understood, effects all ports where the wharves are controlled by the Railway Department.
