SUCCESS OP CANTERBURY EXHIBITORS. (special to ''THE PBESB.") DUNEDIN, November 29. Canterbury exhibitors were very successful at the Otago Show to-day. Particularly keen interest centred in the Corriedale, sheep section, in which the principal Christchurch metropolitan competitors, J. A. Johnstone (Bushy Park), H. T. Little (Woodgrove, Canterbury), and the New Zealand and Australian Land Company re-fought the question of superiority. " The ram championship went to J. A. Johnstone, with Mb over 30 months Christchurch champion, and the reserve to the New Zealand and Australian Land Company, 'with an 18 to 30 months entry. H. T. Little was first and third in the class for ram under 18 months. Leonard W. Storry (Southbridge) was second. 11. T. Little was first and second in the class for two rams under 18 months, and J. A. Johnstone third. H. T. Little was first and second, and L. W. Storry third, for shorn rams under 18 months. The ewe championship went to Isaac Andrew with his 18 to 30 months entry, and the reserve to the New Zealand and Australian Land Company with an over 30 months ewe. Mr Little scored striking successes in other ewe classes.... He was first and second for ewe under 18 months, L. W. Storry being third and commended, and the Land Company very highly commended, and J. A. Johnstone highly oonynended. For two ewes under 18 months, H. T. Little was first and second, J. A. Johnstone third, and Isaac Andrew very highly commended. For shorn ewe under 18 months, H. T. Little was first, J. A. Johnstone second, L. W. Storry third, and Isaac Andrew very highly commended. In Shropshires, L. W. Storry and J. E. Storry (Southbridge) practically swept the board, the other competitor being Thos. Evans (Longbusli). The ram championship and reserve fell to, Canterbury exhibitors, and also the championship in ewes. In cattle, in Ayrshires Jno. Parlane (Halswell) was third in two-year bulls and second with his Christchurch champion, Maesgwyn Princess for cow in milk to R. S/Weir (Seaward Downs), the section champion, third for threeyear cow in znilk, first for dry cows, , and first for cow and two of her i progeny. j In Friesians, Henry Allnut (Morven) ; was the most notable winngr, securing i the championship with a two-year-old heifer against R. Colee's (Greendale) Christchurch champion winner Colinton Lorna, which annexed the reserve The bull championship went to H. Norths and Sons, H.
