[Six ex-Ministerß and the former Commander-in-Chief of the Greek armies in Asia. Minor, are being tried for alleged high treason. The first charge is that they recalled Constantino despite Allied warnings, and by announcing the . result of 'the plebiscite as 99 per cent, in favour of Constantino's return, which figures were grossly exaggerated. Secondly, it is alleged the politicians' conduct aided the enemy's advance, and the late Government is accused of having unnecessarily delayed advising Constantine to abdicate. The third charge alleges that the Ministry entrusted the high command to Constantine, but did not make him responsible for the army's reverses and continually misrepresented these reverses as successes. The fourth allegation is that the army was not furnished with adequate provisions, and that operations were ordered without necessary preparations r.nd public money was squandered. The fifth charge relates to General Hadjianestis's withdrawal of troops from Asia Minor and their transference to Thrace.]
