RICHMOND SCHOOL COMMITTEE.
At the monthly meeting of the Richmond School Committee, Mr F. Talbot presided. There were also present: Meaers Brown, Clausen, Graham, Petrie, Penteoost, Saunder» and Stuart. The headmaster'/g report showed the roll numberto be 636 with an' average attendance of 688. It waei decided not to close the schooljjn Soout Say, November 17 th. The trustees of the new site fund reported that the sum of £2OO had been paid to the Education Departm'nt towards the coet of the land purchased from Mr Kington. It waa resolved to hold the annual picnio at; Little -Kiver on Saturday, February 10th, 1923. The sum of 95s was voted to tiu oojn' cricket ftuzd!. A motion of thanks wu passed to Mt D. (J. Sullivan, M.P., for his servicss in ooniiexion with the. acquiring- of the new eita. The Works Committee waa authorised to carry out repairs to the bath. An application from the Richmond Amateur. Swimming Club to allow mixed bathing, was granted subject to the regulation*.
