CITY AND SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION.' The monthly meeting of delegates to the City and Suburban Cricket Association was held on Tuesday evening, Mr H. Rogers preeiding over a large attendance. Prior to the general, buainess the chairman presented Mr U. Euggan, who has occupied tho poisition of president for several years, with a cheque from the Association in appreciation of his services curing hi 3, term of office. . , The chairman reported having interviewed "Mr C. Melhuish, who hai given a handsome shield -fori competition oh the lines of the Petersen Ahieid. . ' The Tevnpleton Club wrote protesting against tho "Woolston Third Grade team playing C. • Lflbiime, who Was allegedly a membejr ofth« We«t Christchurch Club. Tho chainncin . stated that ho had been informed that .Lilbnrne was a schoolboy, and ■ played for the West Chmtchiirch School. " Tha protest was dismissed. The question of last Saturday's matches .. was discussed, and it was decided to declare off all matches not actually played, 'and to. plav them next. Saturday. , ..
