t .ANNUAL MEETING. . The annual meeting and festival.of the Sunday School Teachers' Association was held yocterday and opened with Holy Communion, which was celebrated at the Cathedral at 6.45, 7.30, and 11 a.m. After the enrly services breakfast was served in tlie Jcllicpo Hall. In the afternoon there was a garden party on the lawn at Bishcpscourt Hostel. Evensong was attended at St Michael's Church, the preacher being the Rev. E. E. Maiden, vicar of i Little lliver. After high tea in tho ! Jellicoe Hall, the annual meeting waa lieM, the Ven. Archdeacon P. 11. Haggitt presiding. The ltov. 'F. Dunnage, the honorary secretary, said that Archbishop Julius had written expressing his regret at being unable to Attend and. soudmg bis greetings. Dean Carrington hud also written apologising for his alienee. The branch at Timaru had been revived and was now active; there was some hope of branches being formed at AsliOtirton and Rangiora. The Rev. F. R.
