[lf the iirat part of the above message is correct, tho French Government would appear to be under a misapprehension, since neither Now Zealand nor Australia has an Unknown Soldier's grave. Tho proposal that Nov/ Zealand and Australia 6ho«ld follow, tho precedent of Britain, France. Italy, Portugal, and the, United States, in regard to tho burial of au unknown soldier was made last year, but considerable opposition was shown to the idea which was dropped.]
