THE SISTINE OHOIB SOLOISTS. Commenting on tho Sistino Choir Soloists, who are to commenco a brief season. at tho Liberty Picture Theatre on Tuesday, 24th inst., iin expert Australian critio wroto: "The work of these nine KO.oiato and 1 their maestro was undoubtedly a revelation. Tho crescendo the soloists made in tho 'Soldiers' Chorus'_ from 'Faust,' with full orchestral accompaniment, was a masterpiece of choral with . passionate feeling added, and the ettect of tho final note in 'Funiculi Funicula' &a sung by Signor Facchini with full chorus behind and tho orchestra in front was electrifying. It is more than a. delight to hoar the Sistine Choir Soloists, it is a privilege." A most appealing _ programme has boen arranged for tho opening concert to ba given. It comprises solos and dtteto from. "Pag-li&cci," "Moses in Egypt/' "The Puritan," "Faust," etc. Signor P-aganeili, the lyric tenor of the company, who possesses a voice of rare quality, will be heard to advantage in ft number of Neapolitan folk songs, and every other member of the combination will be ' heard . to the best advantage in the different solo 3 that have brought them most success. The choral numbers to bo given by the soloists include "The Humming Chorus" fiom "The Girl of the Golden West," "Tho Pilgrims' Chorus" from "Tannhauser," and an Ave Maria 'Specially composed by Signor Paganelii. The box plans will be <opcned at the Bjistol oil Friday, 20th inst.
