REDCLIFFS FAIR.
The success of the Bedcliffs fair on Saturday was a very bright reflection of toe optimism, and enthusiasm with which the proposal was taken up. Th« ladies of the dlstriot, all through the work, hare volunteered very -valuable assistance. - The appeatanos of the community hail was a delightful surprise to- all w&o patronised the fair. 'The Stalls "ware most effectively arranged sad decorated, and on, every hind were indications of the magnificent efforts oi the Wives and daugfttsrs of the district. The coke stall was in charge of Mrs D. Cabmen; sweets, Mrs Nettleton; produce, Mrs K. Simpson; 'gipsy tent. Mrs CloUgh; bran tub, Misses B. TruScoit and Neilson,: work stall, Mrs Or. H. Woods; jumble stall, Mrs A. Holdent afternoon tea-room, Mrs Comsrfordi and Mrs King; variety stall, Mrs W. Brittendett: sheep guessing, Mr rifle range, Messrs Porrtstor and McKay. The ■chairman of the oMnmlttee was Mir K. Britton and the secretary Mr W. X>. Xirkpatrick.
