A mauifesto signed by the senior chaplain to the Fleet, the chap-lain-general to the Forces, and' the chief chaplain to the Royal Air Force has been issued, inviting all citizens 0 f the British Empire to set aside Empire Day as a day of special prayer for the spiritual welfare of his Majesty's forces in all parts of the Empire, both at Home and abroad, COMBATING DISLOYALTY. SYDNEY, May 22. Several addresses on Empire Day were delivered on Sunday, the keynote being the necessity for combating the poisonous propaganda disseminated with the object cf undermining the British Empire. Mr Bruntnell (Minister of Education) was eulogised for i his decree compelling- the saluting of | the flag in the State schools.
