"APOLOGIA PRO BELLO SUO." (By Cablo—Press AsaocialioU'—Copyrig&'t.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) (Received May 21st, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, May 20. The "Daily Chronicle's" Berlin correspondent says the ex-Kaiser's book is completed. Parts of it have been shown to-a foreign buyer. The ex-Kaiser is standing out for 1,000,000 dollars for the foreign rights, and is practically certain to get this, which will equal 300,000,000 marks or four times [what ho | has thus far received from Gefmany. Since the Revolution the ex-Kaiser has had literary help and appealed to his friends including Hindenburg, for details of the story. Generally speaking, it is guarded, but argumentative and provocative regarding some happenings during the war. The manuscript has been iu existence for some time, but the ex-Kaiser hoped to return to Germany, and only determined on its publication when it became plain his return to Germany was impossible. The ,: Daily Chronicle" suggests that the title of the book should be . "Apologia Pro Bello Suo."
