DANISH MEDIUM'S TRICKS.

An investigation was recently made by a committee of Norwegian scientists, appointed by the Norwegian Society of Psychic Research, of the so-called spiritist manifestations by a welJ-known Danish mwiium, Einer Nielsen. According to a Beuter report from Christiana. this committee has published a full statement. It was asserted by Nieken that he produced what he called teleplasma, alleged to be a sort of liquid matter, out of which materialised spirits were formed. The committee stated that the teleplasma was composed of silk gauze. At one seance, tney say, Nielsen had this gauze in his stomach, and was able to produce it, letting it stream like a shining liquid from his mouth. He then swallowed it again. He was photographed at the moment when ho was swallowing the silk gauze.
