AUSTRALIAN CHAMPIONSHIP.
(press association telegram.) DUNEDIN, April 23. In the Australasian draughts championship Boreham defeated Eea iu the openinjr round and Lucas beat Brown. In the next round Lucas beat Boreham in two games ami drew one. Brown and Rea proved very evenly matched, and have won one game eleh, six games having been drawn. Lucas is the only "two lifer" left in the contest.
