Tb» Monthly meeting of tb« Rangiora High School Board mi held hut night, Mr W. A. B*nk» presiding. A motion of sympathy waa paesed to Mr C. W. Bell, * member of the Board, in the death of iua father. Mr Bell wu recommended for reappoint' meat «• the repreeentotire of Lincoln Collage on the Board. The aeoretary, Mr W. J. Young, tendered oil xwaignation, whioh was accepted with regret, It .wit decided to appoint Mr W. B, Pike «a secretary. The headmaster reported the echool roll number to be 168. Tie biennial inspection of the school by the Education Department'* inspected*, by Maaara Drummond and Parr, took place on April 10th and 11th. The aeboot waa. again very sneoaeafol in eibibitfl at the Bawaxden and Oxford agricultural shows. The annual meeting of the •ohool waa held laat week, when reports of- tie yaaVa work by the School Council were read and discussed. These showed that the system of government by pnpila and staff in joint council had been eminently auecesafnl, end to all appearanoes waa firmly establiahed.
