The Cambrian Society of Canterbury will hold the first social of the session litis eveaiasjtX 7.80 p.m. 'in the Cadena Tea Rooms. Iba Waikari' AthJetio Carnival will be held on Eoater Monday, commencing at 11 a,m. A train leaves Christchuich for Waikari at BJSS a.B. The- train arrangements for Easter appear in this lama. The Railway Department has issued a neat booklet of, « que suitable for carrying in the pocket, giving full particulars ef train- times, stoppages, connexion*, aad tourist resorts. These booklets are obtainable at all railway stations free of charge.
