HARVEST FESTIVAL.

Harvest festival services were conducted lb the Union Methodist Church, AdUington, on Sunday last, when theie were large congregations. The> preachers for the day were BevS. Patchett and Tinsley, who delivered appropriate sermons/ Special anthems were given by the choir, and solos by Miss Nellie Smith,."With Verdure Clad"; MLs S. Down; "Lead, Kindly Light"; and Mr A. S. Bell, "Fear Not Ye, O Israel," were artistically sung and - greatly appreciated. Mr J: Jones was conductor, and Mr E. Fehsenfeld officiated at the 4 organ. The fruit and produce was subsequently presented to the Methodist Orphanage, Papanui.
