WATER SUPPLY BOARD.

WAIMAKABISI-ASHLEY. The members of Ashley Water Supply Board' made their annual inspection of the head works at Brown's Bock on Thursday, when a very enjoyable, and instructive day was spent. All the members of the Boardwere present, with the exception of Mr G. F. Wjrffie (chairman of the Ashley County Council) with them, as he waa able to give them valuable advice on' the ■ subject. Messrs R. F." Henderson (chairman of the Oxford County Council) and J. Marshall {Clerk: to the Rangiora Council) were also present, and took a great interest inj! the works? protective' scheme.
