WAIMAKABISI-ASHLEY. The members of Ashley Water Supply Board' made their annual inspection of the head works at Brown's Bock on Thursday, when a very enjoyable, and instructive day was spent. Marshall {Clerk: to the Rangiora Council) were also present, and took a great interest inj! the works? protective' scheme. Messrs Wyllie, Marshallnnd Henderson speaking on behalf- of; ; the'yiatoria.; referred'to the valuable -worfc' that had been done by the Board and were quite pure they would carry out successfully ihe scheme for further protection of ihs race, which they considered to bo moat neoeesary. •* Lunch was prtxvided by 'the-lady visfc. tors and was greatly appreciated.
