There was a wded attendance, and the concert went well from start to finish. Band Concert. promenade concert given by the Municipal Band on Sunday in the Kawhiti Domain was well attended, 10-morrow the Band is holding its annual picnic at Pleasant Point. Senior Cadet Company. The local company of Senior Cadets paraded on Wednesday 72 strong. At the invitation of the O.C. an inspection was held b,v Lieutenant Davis, N.Z. P.S., who is Musketry Instructor for Canterbury, and Captain K. Muirson, At the conclusion of the parade the inspecting officers expressed great pleasure at what they had seen. The discipline was excellent, and the appearance of the Cadets, with perhaps one or two cxceptipns, 'left little to bo desired. A half day parade of the Company is being held nest Saturday. Wedding. A very pretty wedding tool? place at the Methodist Church on Wednesday, when Mr Roland Hall, son of Mr and Sirs Harry Hall, was married to Miss Ngita Mi ram Wyatt, third daughter of the late Mr A. H. Wyatt and Mrs Wyatt. The I?er. W. H. E. Abbey, of Linu'ood, was the officiating clergyman. The bride was given away by her eldest brother, Mr Harry Vernon Wyatt. Miss Ida Wilson was bridesmaid, and Mr Penlington best man. Mr George Sincock presided at the organ, and playing the "Wedding March," and the liymu "The Voice That Breathed O'er Eden" was Rung by the congregation. At the conclusion of the cere-
