BOY SCOUT ASSOCIATION.
The executive of the Christchurch Boy Scout Association, met on Thursday. The secretary reported a serious shortage of scoutmasters, eight troops being without officer*. A schema was devised whereby, unattached scouts, and -scout troops without scoutmasters, should parade for _ combined instnrcti&n centrally. Through the courtesy of ihe manager of the Opera House,' the Colleseum, Gloucester street, has been o!>'tuned for this purpose.' The first parade will be held - to-night. The senior department of the movement, the Hover Smuts, has been called upon to provide acting scoutmasters, and'' at the end of the course of training, in the Colleseum if efficient,: will be duly provided with commissions as ncoutmasters, and placed in chaijs ol various troops. .
