LAKE COLERIDGE POWER.
CASING TOE SIXTH UNIT. The casing for the sixth unit at Lake Coleridge is stated to have arrived at Lyttelton by the s.s. fort Bowen, although Mr Gavey, electrical engineer for the Public Works Department, cannot confirm this, as the papers have not yet reached him. The casing is to be used to replace that of the fifth unit, which is broken. When the new casing is installed the power available at the Lake will bo as follows: — K.w. Ist unit 1600 2nd unit , ... ... 1600 3rd unit 1500 4th unit 1500 sth unit 3000 Total ... ... 9000
