The following resolutions were carried at a mectin" of the Wellington section of the New Zealand Post and Telegraph Officers' Association: —<1) That this meeting of the Wellington section of the Post* and Telegraph Officers' Association desires to place on record its entire agreement with the definite proposals of the Executive Council and Committee that salaries should he adjusted on alO per cent, basis, according as the cost of living rises or falls; cost of living figures to cover all items necessary to officers living a decent life and not to be based on any small group; and, further, that this meeting is of opinion that the cost of living does not at present warrant anv reduction in salaries of £4OO or under. (2) That this meeting impresses upon the Executive Committee the necessity for still pressing for a tribunal similar to that granted -the railway servants. (3) That this meeting calls upon Government l-o make public thei reports of the Economy Commission and the Uniformity Committee. /
