The Turkish Nationalists have signed an agreement granting the necessary safeguards to Christians in Cilicia. It abrogates the law confiscating 40 per cent, of their property, postpones the enforcement of military service, and establishes 'a Franco-Turkish Commission to safeguard the property of refugees. The arrival of French officials in the principal towns in Cilicia has considerably allayed the alarm, and many Christians are returning to their homes.
