WEST DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL
OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION. A,t the annual reunion dinner and, general meeting of the West ChristOaurch District High Old Boys' Association, Mr J. Laurenson presided over a very large and representative attendance of members, including the following:—Dr. Chilton, Messrs F. I>. Waller, C. Allard, A. Nicholson, H. Barrett, H. Fisher, C. Brunsden, ». W. Marshall; J. Smith, It.-cimitu, and CD. W. L Biieppard. During the evening the following toasts were honoured: —"'The King," '"itao School," "The Old Girls." The secretary, Mr K. Campion., submitted a very lengthy report on the past year's '.working. The report showed the Association to, be iaakingj great headway, particularly' m membership, the increase over the preceding year b'eing 7s. He also eulogised the work done by Messrs K. Hall and, R. W. Marshall. The following officers were elected: — Patron. Mr F. D- Waller; president, Mi* T. Dolan; vice-piesideiits, Professor J. B. Condliffe, Dr. Chilton, Messrs C. D- Hardie, A. J. Mayne, H. Holland, F. Barrell, C. Allard, H. Fisher, and C. D. W. ,L. Sheppard; secretary, Mr K. Campion; . treasurer, Mr R. W. Marshall; management committee, Messrs R. W. Marshall, J. Laurenson, N. Perry, H. Barrett, J. Down, H. Clyde, and C. White.
