WILKTE BARD SEASON. Mr "Wilkis Bard, the famous English comedian, has certainly caught on with the CSiristchurch public, ar.d last night's audience was -again a crowded one. Mr Bard's offerings consisted of "On Sentry Go," "Tho Night Watchman," and "The' Bootshop " all of which, widely diversified in character tnd tieatment, served to bring out the quiet but effective humour on which Mr Bard has made his reputation. Tho other artists comprising the balance of the programme— Suther, versatile musician; the Eclair Bros., acrobats; Pedro and Pedrina, violinist and soprano; Peggy Peat, soubreite; Daly and Marr, and C'reighton—wer© also successful in tho presentation of their turns, and received warm applause. The final performance of Mr Bard' and his clever company will be given to-night.
