OXFORD TERRACE BAPTIST CHURCH.
"Sunday School Day" wa* celebrated at the Oxford terrace Baptist Church on Sunday last, the church being well filled at both services. The singing in the morning was led by the school choristers, specially trained for the occasion by Misses Maxjorie Xichol and Alice Drayton. In the evening the choir seats were occupied by the members of the Young Men's and Young Women's Bible Classes; some oi whom alio contributed «ek>ctod item* The minister of the Church, the Bev. J. J. North, delivered two .powerful addressee to young .people, his subject in the morning, being '.'Our Captain and Guide," and in the evening "The Turning Point in Modern History." The celebrations were continued. in the School Hall on Tuesday evening, when a £he programme of musio attft recitations was presented by senior and junior scholars to a large assembly oi parents and friends. 3lr A. B. Jordan (Superintendent) presided, and Mr G. E. Frasei (secretary) read the annual report, which showed that considerable progress had been made, the toll number having; increased during the year by. 32. The pnxes for the year ended September 30th were later presented by Mrs Jordan, and an offering for the school funSs was taken up.
